Ritual

Ritual Competition has been an integral part of our lodge for over 25 years now.  For those that do not know, the Ritual is a scored rendition of our initiation ceremony.  The lodge officers that make up the Ritual Team are scored on team appearance, word accuracy, pronunciation, and deportment of each individual’s part and then the scores are averaged out and you get a team score.  There are different levels of competition.  Each lodge competes at a district level against other lodges in the district, each district in the state sends a winning team to the State Level, then each State sends a winning team to the Grand Lodge National Convention for the final level of competition.  Our lodge has sent a winning team to the National Ritual Competition 23 of the past 24 years.  In 2016 our Ritual Team finally did it and took first place in the Nation at the Grand Lodge Convention in Houston, TX.
